B.Sc. Horticulture of 4 (four) years Degree Course

Every year the NEC/CAU offers seats for B.Sc. (Horticulture) Courses to the State of Manipur. Based on such offers, the Department nominates candidates based on 10+2 marks or Selection Test. Announcement for such nomination are usually made around May/June.

 
1. B.Sc.(Hort) at Dr. Y.S Parmar University of Horticulture & Forestry,Nauni, Solan, Himachal  Pradesh 
No. of Seats : Announced every year.
Eligibility:

10+2 or equivalent examination with English, Physics, Chemistry, Biology/ Mathematics/Agriculture of a recognised University/Board with a minimum of 50%.

B.Sc(Horti) of 4-years Degree Course as State nominee at the College of Horticulture & Forestry, Central Agricultural University, Pasighat, Arunachal Pradesh for North Eastern Regions.

Documents to be submitted:

The application form duly filled in along with the attested copies of Certificates and Educational Qualification accompanied with crossed IPO of Rs. 200 /- (Rupees two hundred, but the fee may be changed with time)  only payable in favour of the Director, Horticulture & Soil Conservation, Manipur should be submitted to this Directorate.The application form received after the due date will not be entertained. Incomplete application form and those not accompanied with essential certificates & fee will be summarily rejected. No correspondence in this regard will be entertained. And declraration of list of eligible candidates will  be noticed.

Eligibility :

Minimum qualification:

10+2 Secondary (10+2) in all subjects with 60 % marks in aggregate for General category & 50% marks for SC/ST categories in Physics, Chemistry, Biology/Maths or Agriculture.

 Age:

The candidate must attain 17 (seventeen) years of age.
